Day 01: Arrival in Makassar
Upon arrival at Sultan Hasanuddin International Airport in Makassar, meet and greet with your Wallacea Tour guide. Transfer directly to your hotel in Makassar for rest and evening preparation before starting the highland tour.

Day 02: Overland Makassar to Torajaland
After morning breakfast, depart overland to Torajaland passing traditional coastal Bugis stilt villages. Enjoy lunch in Pare Pare coastal town and a relaxing coffee break at the scenic Bambapuang mountain area (~10 hours total journey).

Ancient Culture & Countryside Hiking

Day 03: Torajaland Cultural Tour
Start at 09:00 AM after breakfast with your guide to explore unique ancient burial sites, stone graves, carved cliff tombs, and traditional Toraja villages hundreds of years old. Lunch is served at a recommended local tourist restaurant.

Day 04: Countryside Hiking & Local Life
Hike through the stunning Torajan countryside to witness local rural life—including rice planting and washing water buffaloes (the central domestic animal of Toraja). Marvel at rows of bamboo forests and majestic rice terraces.

Day 05: Torajaland to Makassar Airport
